For years, our brand carried a scale. It's the classic symbol of law, and it made sense at the time. But NSS stopped being a traditional law firm a long time ago.

The scale no longer describes what we are. It was time for a brand that did.
Defining a new symbol is no small task. We were clear about what we needed to convey — precision, direction, ecosystem — but finding a way to say it all without saying anything extra took time, exploration and a lot of iterations.
The new isotype had to meet three conditions:

Our new symbol is a shape of three points that converge at a single point of precision. Each point represents an area of our ecosystem:
